There’s always been something super special about the San Luis Obispo Blues Society, a SLO legacy since 1980.

When I joined the Blues Society board (post the covid hiatus) in 2023, there was a major exodus of prior volunteer board members. The website was nonexistent, the domain and email addresses were not working, and there was a whole slew of other problems, expenses, and roadblocks.

I jumped in and set up a new, slick Squarespace 7.1 website, with a unique brand for each show, tailored to the artist(s) booked. I also set up an email campaign strategy, helped to straighten out the domain hosting mess, designed posters to match the website, built ads for the local paper, and created occasional social media graphics.

My last show will be April 4th, 2026. “BLUES! SOUL! FUNK!”
